How do I use my ZenWave lamp?
The ZenWave lamp is plug and play. Simply turn on the base switch, and the device will start running. You can adjust the light and sound volume using the knob.
How do ZenWave 40Hz devices work?
Each of our ZenWave 40Hz devices are designed to flicker precisely at 40Hz (40 times per second). Healthy individuals have reported using gamma brain waves to increase focus and memory, improve meditation/relaxation, and improve brain health.
Is it supposed to flicker?
Yes! The science is in the flicker. The latest research shows light blinking at precisely 40 times per second, i.e., 40Hz, stimulates the gamma rhythms your brain naturally produces while concentrating. What is the best time of day to use the ZenWave 40Hz devices?
Some people prefer to use in the morning to start the day with a boost of alertness and cognitive function. Some prefer to use it in the afternoon to maintain productivity. Some people use it at night to wind down and improve relaxation before bedtime. Ultimately, the best time to use 40Hz therapy is when it fits best into your schedule and when you feel you get the most benefit.
How long should I use the ZenWave lights each day?
Our devices can be used with a timer. Some of our customers find that helpful to set up a one hour session.
Where do I put the ZenWave light and how close should I be to it while using?
The light should be kept within a few feet of the user in their peripheral vision. As with any light therapy, the 40Hz light should be the dominant light source of the room. The light is not for use on or inside the body.
Can I watch tv, read a book, listen to music or do other activities while using?
Yes, but we recommend the light or sound be the dominant source for best results.
The Zenwave lamp has helped me on many levels, but there are two main ones. First, I'm getting much better sleep. I used to wake up frequently from dreams, and now I'm in a much deeper sleep and feel more rested when I wake up. Second, my thought process is much quicker now. It would take me a bit to come up with words to make a more eloquent sentence. Now it just seems to flow more easily, I don't struggle for words. I'm 70 years old and have been very concerned about my poor memory for over 10 years. When my husband shared with me the research about this product, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it. I've noticed a marked improvement in my mom since using this. I put it in her family room as she spends 99.9 percent of her time in there.
